September FA Listening Sessions

In September, Nick Zappia (SJC Rep) and Lauren Springer (MVC Rep) will be hosting two Faculty Association Listening Sessions. These sessions are intended to be an open forum for you to bring concerns, questions, and/or items you would like to share with your union team and colleagues.

The FA team won’t have any new information to share with you at these meetings but will share your concerns back to the Executive union board. This helps us when we go to the negotiation table and when we deal with grievances on your behalf. If we don’t know the contract is being violated, we can’t uphold the contract. It is everyone’s responsibility to uphold the contract!

You can earn up to 1 hour of flex credit for attending. Lauren will take attendance in Zoom and submit the flex on your behalf on Cornerstone. How easy is that? If you cannot attend one of these sessions, don’t worry, we plan to host many more as the semester evolves.

Session 1: September 13th, 1:30p.m.-2:30p.m. (Zoom invite was sent to all faculty outlook mailboxes)

Session 2: September 19th, 1:30p.m.-2:30p.m. (Zoom invite was sent to all faculty outlook mailboxes)
